DEBORAH RUIZ, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Deborah Ruiz was born and raised in South Florida.  She graduated from Florida International University in 2006 and began her work as a teacher that same year.  When it came time to place her oldest child into youth sports, she thought back to her time working at Cutler Ridge Pool, sitting on the lifeguard stand, catching glimpses of soccer games and immediately knew where to sign up.  Deborah joined the board in 2013 and has served in various capacities since. 

When the opportunity came to become part of ALBION family, she realized what an opportunity it would be for not only the club, but the children in the community.  In 2020, Deborah stepped down from teaching and began using her degree in administration to become the Director of Operations and then the Executive Director here at ALBION SC Miami.
